Raley Field: Home of Major League Credibility

The last home series of 2016 begins Monday, and while many players have strapped on a uniform at Raley Field, not all of them had that Major League glow about them. Some were on a fast track to the majors, some were essentially wrapping up a stellar career, while others were in between, rehabbing an injury before heading back to the Big League club.

Only a small fraction had those major league credentials that set them apart from the rest, in one way or another. Below are a few of the players I have been fortunate enough to encounter in the three years I have been shooting photos at Raley Field for the Sacramento Press.
